Morpheus. Listen.

A word. That's the weapon. Not a theme, not a reference — a specific word pulling in two directions at once. One meaning on the surface. Another underneath. Both true simultaneously. That's what lulls them. I've seen it.

Aim it like you mean it. A taunt lands harder than an observation. You're not explaining a pun to them. You're throwing one at them. The difference matters. You're not describing the god — you're attacking one.

WHAT WORKS

A word that sounds like another word. A word with two genuine meanings. A familiar phrase with one word swapped for something that fits their domain. A word that sounds like a short phrase when you say it aloud. Their own name, if it sounds like something else — that one hits hardest of all.

WHAT DOESN'T

Saying a word that belongs to their world without making it do two jobs. That's a reference. They've heard every reference. References don't hurt them.

TO GO DEEPER

The further apart your two meanings, the more damage. Hijack a phrase they'd recognize. Land two puns in one blow.
